The World Power-to-X Summit was organized from December 1 to December 3, 2020, in a joint effort between the Moroccan Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN) and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), aiming towards the creation of a regional platform, dedicated to Green Hydrogen and its applications within the whole “Power-To-X” (PtX) economy.

This platform triggered high-level discussions and partnerships for a new clean energy era, enabled by the Green Hydrogen opportunities

Even if held online, the World Power-to-X Summit 2020 brought together policymakers, industry leaders, research experts and global innovators to discuss PtX in depth in a variety of high-level panels and sessions.

Representing Fraunhofer IGB BioCat, Dr. Lenard-Istvan Csepei showcased CO2EXIDE technology among the CO2-conversion technologies developed at IGB, as well as the progress on the project aiming the piloting of regenerative ammonia synthesis in Morocco.
