38th E-MRS Meeting – Spring Meeting of the European Materials Research Society
The 2021 Spring Meeting of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) will take place from May 31 to June 4, 2021, in Strasbourg, France (Congress & Exhibition Centre). It will be the 38th of the series started in 1983.
The scientific programme will highlight the latest advances in materials research at an international level, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research in both fundamental and applied areas. In parallel with the technical sessions, more than 80 international exhibitors are expected to display equipment, systems, products, software, publications and services during the meeting.
The technical program of the meeting will include 25 symposia organized into 4 topical clusters :
Energy materials
Nanomaterials and advanced characterization
Biomaterials and soft materials
Electronics, magnetics and photonics
The conference will be augmented by a series of workshops/tutorials to be held on Sunday, prior to the conference and open to all participants. One on “Thin film chalcogenide photovoltaic materials” (as part of the symposium A) and another one on “Artificial intelligence for advancing materials science” jointly organized by E-MRS and MRS.
The abstract submission period will start in mid September 2020.
Deadline for abstract submission: 19 January, 2021.
Online registration will be possible after the closure of the submission period only.
